Introduction of the guest was given by Mr. M. K. Jadhav, Assistant Professor UDICT and the session was handed over to guest speaker Shree Achyut Godbole. In his wise words we looked into the changing scene, covering everything from the emergence of Industry 4.0 to the role of blockchain, AI, big data, cloud computing, and 5G Network. In order to be ready for Industry 4.0, he discussed the importance of flexibility, effective communication, and a collaborative approach.
He motivated all to use the opportunity presented by this technology revolution and work for equal opportunities. The event witnessed the presence of Chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vilas Sapkal, Registrar Dr. Ashish Gadekar, Deans, Professors, Associate and Assistant Professors, students, and many other attendees from other private and government engineering institutes. Dr. Sapkal in his speech appreciated the department for conducting such a program which is very useful to the student community. He also emphasizes the importance and roles of AI in recent days.
With a fully crowded Rukhmini Auditorium the event was a huge success. Session was ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rekha Shelke. More than 800 students participated in this event and benefited. The event was formally ended with a short celebration of Guru Purnima by felicitating all the ‘Gurus’ of MGM University and taking blessings from them.
