In addition to the aptitude test, participants engaged in discussions and activities related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event aimed to raise awareness about the SDGs, their importance, and the role of technology in addressing global challenges. Participants were encouraged to explore how Java programming and technology could contribute to advancing SDGs, such as poverty alleviation, quality education, environmental sustainability, and social equity.
The Java Aptitude Test - Coding SDG Activity received active participation from 200 students, faculty, and staff members of the University Department of Information & Communication Technology. Participants demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in both the programming challenges and the SDG discussions. The event provided an opportunity for participants to showcase their Java programming skills, learn from each other, and engage in meaningful conversations about global issues.
Overall it was a successful initiative to evaluate participants' Java programming skills while promoting awareness and engagement in Sustainable Development Goals.
