The Inaugration of Google Developer Students Club (GDSC) at UDICT department of MGM University took place on 27th February, 2024.
The Google Developer Students Club (GDSC) at UDICT MGM University is Inaugurated by the
auspicious hands of the honorable Vice Chancellor of MGM University, Dr. Vilas Sapkal on 27th February
2024. Dr. Sharvari Tamane, Head of the UDICT was present on this occasion. Prof. Jayanand Kamble
gave a brief about the objectives of the formation of GDSC and enlightened on the opportunities studentsget through GDSC.
Mr. Suraj, the GDSC team leader, talked about the Cloud Jam event conducted during the last semester. In
the inaugural speech, Dr. Sapkal said, as a university student, try to learn through these kinds
of events and then collaborate to solve societal issues. On this occasion, Dr. Sapkal Sir and Dr. Tamane
Madam distributed goodies received from Google to students. Prof. Yogesh Tayde and Prof. Jayanand
Kamble along with the GDSC team coordinated the event.
On 28th Feb 2024 from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm and 1st Mar 2024 from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon, an
Android app development workshop was conducted in Aryabhatt Hall. The Faculty Coordinators for the
event were Prof. Yogesh Tayade and Prof. Jayanand Kamble, UDICT, and the Student Coordinators for
the workshop were Sanket Mhaske, Kapil Khushwah, Yogesh Padul TYIT UDICT.
